Your Role

As Symrise being a dynamic and innovative organization committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences with a focus on taste, nutrition, and health, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to join our team in Holzminden as a Senior Category Manager Culinary.

• You collaborate with Senior Category Manager on category strategy and market positioning, and seek out growth opportunities that push the boundaries of taste and delight our consumers.
• You assess sales and profitability data, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.
• You will be the mastermind behind business cycles, including AOP & GGP processes, for a seamless organizational performance.
• You engage with the vibrant Culinary & Market Management (C&MM) community, building bridges and fostering collaboration.
• You manage category intelligence and provide insights for innovation.
• You actively participate in the innovation process, executing consumer-driven projects.
• You collaborate with various functions for innovation projects, using agreed-upon processes.
• You develop strategic partnerships for innovative product development and research.
• You represent the Category function within the Customer team for strategic activities and innovation.
• You lead the application of category innovation to customer needs and act as a product and portfolio specialist.
• You team up with Market Clusters to execute key innovations, ensuring our culinary creations shine on the global stage.

• You hold a degree in Business Administration or an equivalent field, you bring a solid foundation of academic achievement.
• Your profound understanding of the culinary industry is a testament to your expertise and passion for the field that you were able to gain in 5-10 years of experience.
• You are a proven trailblazer in innovation, strategy, and customer engagement, you consistently push boundaries and set industry standards.
• You are backed by a robust technical background, you seamlessly integrate cutting-edge technologies to enhance your professional repertoire.
• You are recognized for your exceptional teamwork, you effortlessly contribute to a positive and dynamic work environment.
• Your outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, are your secret weapons for conveying complex ideas with clarity and impact.
