Working Student (m/f/d) Software Engineer

We are currently expanding our in-house Research and Development (R&D) team in our headquarter in Bremen and are seeking an open-minded working student as a Software engineer (m/f/d) with basic expertise in computer science to join us in shaping the future of logistics automation.

Your tasks:

• Software Development: Support the development team in writing, maintaining code and algorithms for logistics and production planning processes.
• WMS Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate our software with Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and other intralogistics solutions.
• Database Management: Support with management and optimization SQL databases to store and retrieve critical data efficiently.
• Testing and Deployment: Manual and automated testing of business processes, software modules and tools.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, user guides, and system architecture diagrams.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, addressing and resolving software-related issues promptly.

Your profile:

• Student in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable education, Prerequisite: valid certificate of enrollment.
• Open-minded, problem solving, good communication, willingness to learn.
• Experience with C++, Python or other imperative programming language.
• Basic knowledge of SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Communicative English language, German is a plus.
• The employment occasionally takes place at our headquarters in Bremen.
